As a Sr R&D; Test Engineer II, you will contribute to the validation and quality assurance of HEREs HD Map and related geospatial solutions. Youll work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to execute test strategies, analyze geospatial datasets, and support both manual and automated testing initiatives. You will have the opportunity to:

- Execute functional, regression, and product-level validation activities for HEREs HD Map and Base Map solutions.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and validate product quality.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test datasets that support comprehensive product validation.
- Support manual testing activities and contribute to the continuous adoption of test automation capabilities.
- Investigate, document, and track defects using quality management and issue-tracking tools.
- Validate geospatial data pipelines and datasets, including data ingestion, transformation, and output verification activities.
- Analyze test results, identify inconsistencies, recommend improvements, and help strengthen testing processes and quality practices.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related discipline.
- Experience with manual testing methodologies and exposure to test automation concepts.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting, test development, or automation support.
- Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile development practices, and quality engineering principles.
- Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within global and cross-functional teams.
- Interest in geospatial technologies, HD Maps, GIS concepts, or related location-based systems.
