Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA / Data Testing Engineer to drive quality assurance and data integrity across our data warehouse, ETL pipelines, and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms. In this role, you will lead test strategies, design end-to-end data validation frameworks, and work closely with cross-functional development teams and business stakeholders to ensure high-grade data accuracy and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Test Strategy Execution: Lead and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for complex ETL workflows, data warehouses, and BI reporting platforms.
- Data ETL Testing: Perform rigorous data validation, data transformation testing, schema checks, and source-to-target mapping verification across complex databases.
- Test Automation Scripting: Leverage Python and SQL to build automated data validation scripts and streamline regression testing cycles.
- Defect Management: Oversee the defect tracking, triage, and resolution lifecycle using enterprise tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM), collaborating closely with development teams.
- Quality Assurance Frameworks: Establish and maintain testing standards, methodologies, metrics, and KPIs to continuously elevate quality engineering practices.
- Stakeholder UAT Coordination: Coordinate with business analysts, developers,



and client teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deliver transparent progress updates.
- Mentorship Process Improvement: Provide technical guidance to junior team members, review test deliverables, and drive continuous improvements in data testing processes.

Mandatory Skills Qualifications

- Core Experience: 5 to 10 years of dedicated software testing experience with a strong specialization in Data Testing and ETL Concepts.
- Programming Automation: Hands-on proficiency in Python for data validation and test automation.
- Data Querying: Advanced SQL skills and deep experience in database querying, data profiling, and schema verification.
- Educational Background: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Tools: Practical knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent platforms.
- Methodologies: Solid understanding of QA practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and end-to-end testing life cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on validation experience with BI platforms such as Qlik Sense, QlikView, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality management frameworks, and performance testing concepts.
- Industry certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proven track record of managing deliverables in fast-paced environments.
