Job Summary

Roles Responsibilities Act as a Technology Ambassador for Electrical Distribution (EDN) offers, promoting digital technologies, connected products, solutions, tools, and platforms. Provide pre-sales, technical, and application support to sales teams and customers for Electrical Distribution products and solutions. Understand customer requirements, technical specifications, and applications to recommend the most appropriate techno-commercial solution.

Responsibilities

- Support sales teams in customer engagement, solution positioning, technical discussions, and customer conversion.

- Drive the adoption and successful deployment of digital offers, connected technologies, and energy/power management solutions.

- Position new technologies and product evolutions effectively with customers, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.

- Support technical presentations, product demonstrations, promotional activities, seminars, and customer events.

- Develop a strong understanding of customer and market requirements and provide relevant inputs for offer positioning and business development.

- Support the prescription and positioning of key Electrical Distribution offers to drive profitable business growth in the region.

- Collaborate closely with sales and other internal teams to strengthen customer relationships and improve solution adoption.

Education

B. E. /B. Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Experience

4-8 years of relevant experience in Electrical Distribution, Power Management, Electrical Systems, or related applications.





Knowledge / Skills

- Strong understanding of MV and LV Electrical Power Distribution Networks, including system design philosophy and applications.

- Knowledge of Electrical Distribution products such as: VCBs, ACBs, MCCBs Switching and controlling devices

- Transfer switches and related distribution products

- Knowledge of Power Management solutions, including energy meters, Power Factor Correction (PFC) components, and Active Harmonic Filters (AHFs).

- Good understanding of LV panels and their applications.

- Exposure to connected products, digital applications, energy/power management software, and digital solutions is preferred.

- Understanding of relevant electrical product standards and application requirements.

- Exposure to Discrete and/or Process Automation solutions would be an advantage.

- Valuable understanding of customer segments such as Panel Builders, OEMs, Contractors, and their application requirements.

- Strong passion for technology and digital solutions, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.

- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

- Customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration, relationship-building, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
