Qualification: Life Sciences background like B.sc Life science, B.Pharma, M.Pharm
Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced Medical Coders with strong expertise in Inpatient Coding / MS-DRG. Candidates with direct inpatient or DRG experience will be given first preference.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant medical coding experience – Mandatory.
- Life Sciences educational background – Mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS.
- Experience in Inpatient Coding, MS-DRG Coding, or DRG Validation preferred.
- Knowledge of Principal Diagnosis, CC/MCC identification, and DRG assignment.
- Experience reviewing inpatient medical records and operative reports.
Candidates who can also be considered:
- Facility Outpatient Coding
- Emergency Department Coding
- Same-Day Surgery / Surgical Coding
- CDI, Inpatient Auditing, or DRG Denial Review
Preferred: Candidates with direct Inpatient / DRG experience and immediate availability.
