- Plan and manage all purchase activities of the organsation in line with production and pruchase plan
- Periodically evaluate stock level and continuously evaluate purchase plans
- Develop systems and procedures for organization’s purchase policy
- Responsible for supporting the introduction of new products as per the new launch calendar
- Forecasting levels of demand for materials and services in consultation with marketing and production team and ensure timely availability /supply of materials and services
- Conduct market survey and research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
- Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers;
- Identifying potential supplier and review existing suppliers for their products and services
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring the quality check as per material specification
- Approval of supplier payment and invoices as per the credit period
- Liaison with departments such as production/sales for accurate forecasting of material requirement
- Ensure that team members are trained in SAP and arrange periodical training as and when required for SAP
- Develop staff for higher job and improve staff efficiency
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities
- Producing reports and regularly update department heads/management
- Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors and maintain proper documents
- Attending meetings and trade conferences and conduct market research
- Experience in lingerie purchase and sourcing is a must
