Experience

Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in AAC manufacturing / Chemical Plants

Proven experience in handling quality systems, testing, audits, and compliance

Role Summary The QC Head will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality control systems for AAC production. The role involves overseeing all AAC-related testing, ensuring compliance with BIS standards, managing audits, driving continuous improvement through quality tools, and promoting a strong culture of safety and 5S across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management Testing

- - Lead and monitor all quality testing related to AAC products, including raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
- Ensure compliance with BIS standards and other applicable statutory requirements
- Review test results, analyze deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Approve quality plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and SOPs

Audits Compliance
- - Act as the single point of contact for BIS audits, customer audits, and internal audits
- Prepare audit documentation, ensure audit readiness, and close non-conformities within timelines
- Maintain all quality-related records, reports, and certifications
- Customer complaint Handling or customer audit

Quality Tools Analysis
- - Apply quality tools such as SPC, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone, 7 QC tools, RCA,



and trend analysis
- Perform data-driven analysis to improve product consistency, reduce rejection, and enhance process capability
- Prepare MIS, quality dashboards, and management reports using Microsoft Office

Process Improvement
- - Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and EHS teams to improve process efficiency and product quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction through quality enhancement
- Support recent product trials and process changes from a quality perspective

Team Leadership
- - Lead, guide, and develop the QC team
- Ensure proper training on testing methods, standards, and documentation
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance

Safety Workplace Discipline
- - Ensure strict adherence to safety norms, EHS guidelines, and statutory safety requirements
- Implement and sustain 5S systems within the QC laboratory and plant areas
- Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and quality awareness

Key Skills Competencies
- - In-depth knowledge of AAC product testing and standards
- Strong understanding of BIS codes and audit processes
- Hands-on experience with quality tools and root cause analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
- Leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities
