Job Title:
Sr. HR Executive
Location:
Chakan, Pune
Salary Range:
₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Experience Required:
2 – 6 years in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing / factory environment
Company Profile:
A reputed manufacturing organization based in Chakan, Pune, with a structured plant operation and a workforce that includes permanent employees and contract labour. The company is looking for a capable HR qualified to strengthen its people processes, statutory compliance, and employee engagement at the plant.
Position Overview:
The Sr. HR Executive will manage the complete HR function at the plant, from employee lifecycle management and recruitment to payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and employee relations. The role works closely with departmental heads and contractors to keep manpower planning, labour law compliance, and workforce welfare running smoothly. It suits a hands-on HR professional who is confident with plant-level HR operations and can lead and guide the HR team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred
- 2–6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing / factory setup
Key Responsibilities: HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage day-to-day HR activities, including joining, induction, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and separation processes
- Maintain accurate employee records and monitor attendance and leave
Manpower Planning & Recruitment
- Plan manpower requirements in consultation with departmental heads
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for contract labour requirements
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate payroll processing and verification for accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, including PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and Minimum Wages
- Maintain statutory registers, file returns, and support audits
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Handle employee grievances,
disciplinary matters, and industrial relations with fairness and professionalism
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles
- Identify training and development needs across teams
Training, Administration & Employee Welfare
- Organize training programs to build workforce capability
- Oversee general plant administration, including housekeeping, security, transport, and canteen
- Support safety and employee welfare initiatives
Skills Required:
- HR & Labour Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and applicable labour laws and statutory compliance requirements
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, guide, and manage HR teams while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to assess situations objectively and make sound, timely decisions
- MS Office & HR/Payroll Software Proficiency: Competence in MS Excel, Word, and HR/Payroll systems for record-keeping, reporting, and process management
- Confidentiality & Integrity: High level of discretion in handling sensitive employee and company information
- Documentation & Reporting Skills: Ability to maintain accurate HR records and registers and prepare clear, well-structured reports for management
- Grievance Handling & Conflict Resolution: Skilled in managing grievances and difficult situations calmly, fairly, and professionally
Special Requirements:
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing/factory HR environment is preferred
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages), including registers, returns, and audits
- Experience coordinating with contractors / vendors for contract labour management
- Candidates based in or willing to work from Chakan, Pune are preferred
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
