We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our energetic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Import/Export Accounting, Procurement, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, with specific expertise in US Financial Accounting standards. The candidate must also have successfully completed CA Intermediate (CA Inter).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.

- Manage accounting activities related to import and export transactions.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and tax requirements.
- Reconcile import/export documentation with accounting records.

- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely processing of purchase orders and invoices.

- Utilize NetSuite for procurement processes and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the NetSuite system.

Qualifications
- Education:
CA Intermediate (CA Inter) qualification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, with a focus on import/export accounting, procurement, and P2P processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification or equivalent.
- Experience with ERP systems implementation and optimization.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
