Work Design

Role: Finance Controlling

Experience: 2-8 Years

Financial Analysis Reporting

- Prepare, analyze, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Support business units by providing timely and accurate financial information to aid decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for senior leadership

Budgeting Forecasting Support
- Collaborate with business units to gather and consolidate budget and forecast data.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by validating inputs, ensuring consistency, and identifying key assumptions.
- Track and monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting significant variances.

Business Partnering
- Financial Business Partnering : Act as a financial business partner to department heads, offering financial insights and guidance for key business decisions.
- Support Department : Provide with financial insights to support major business decisions, including capital allocation, expansion initiatives, pricing strategies, and cost control measures.
- Cost Optimization : Provide financial insights and recommendations to help optimize business performance and cost control.

Cost Optimization, Investment Analysis and other Ad Hoc Analysis Projects




- Ensure timely monthly and quarterly financial closes in coordination with accounting, ensuring cost centers, project codes, and capex/opex allocations are correctly posted.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, IFRS/GAAP standards, and internal audit requirements specific to software capitalization and revenue recognition.
- Review and approve purchase requisitions, major CAPEX/IT investments from a financial control perspective.
- Support cost-efficiency initiatives across Departments, infrastructure, and third-party vendor engagements.
- Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with business and stakeholders to ensure an understanding of implemented processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare tax status reports and discuss anomalies with tax colleagues to ensure correct and accurate reporting. Escalate major discussions to Lead business and Finance controller

Financial Controls Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
- Identify control weaknesses and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.

Financial Systems and Tools Management
- Manage Financial Planning Systems : Oversee the use of financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, budgeting and forecasting software) to streamline financial processes and enhance the accuracy of financial data.
- System Improvement and Integration : Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to financial systems, ensuring they support the evolving needs of the business and provide accurate, real-time data

Process Improvement and Innovation / Digitization
- Process Improvement : Continuously assess and improve financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Innovation in Financial Analysis : Implement cutting-edge approaches and advanced techniques in financial analysis (e.g., data visualization, scenario planning) to improve decision-making.
