Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer - Systems Engineering with strong expertise in Steam Turbine Systems and BOP Mechanical Engineering. The role involves engineering activities related to steam turbine projects, preparation and release of engineering deliverables, system engineering, technical documentation, client/consultant interaction, vendor coordination, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client specifications, applicable codes standards, and internal specifications for preparing mechanical system component specifications/RFQs.
- Prepare and review engineering specifications considering application requirements, client/consultant specifications, codes and international regulations.
- Perform design calculations and material selection for specifications and procurement documentation.
- Interact with clients, consultants and suppliers for technical clarifications and contractual documentation approvals.
- Support engineering activities during pre-bid and post-order phases.
- Provide technical support to Bid Sales teams during customer/consultant discussions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet project timelines.
- Perform basic and detailed engineering of various Steam Turbine system components and BOP systems.
- Participate in vendor inspections, FAT/SAT, stage and final inspections.
- Coordinate with Assembly/Shop Floor for effective project execution.
- Support Field Service teams during erection, commissioning and troubleshooting of steam turbines and accessories.




- Participate in vendor qualification audits.
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.

Candidate Profile

- 8-10 years of relevant experience in Steam Turbine System projects.
- Strong exposure to both Skid and Off-Skid systems.
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Willingness to take ownership of engineering deliverables and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
