Role Summary:

TRU Realty is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Engineer to champion our quality standards across upcoming and ongoing real estate development projects. In this role, you will lead the implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols on-site, ensuring that all structural, architectural, and finishing work meets our stringent benchmarks and complies with industry codes. You will act as the primary custodian of project quality, bridging the gap between design expectations and on-ground execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- QA/QC Strategy & Implementation: Develop, review, and enforce the Project Quality Plan (PQP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and inspection and test plans (ITPs) across all phases of construction.
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct rigorous daily and weekly site walk-throughs to monitor workmanship, identifying defects or deviations from approved architectural and structural drawings.
- Material Testing & Approvals: Oversee the testing of incoming construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, cement, aggregates, and finishing materials) at internal/external laboratories. Ensure only approved and certified materials are used.
- Non-Conformance Management: Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for substandard work or material, and proactively collaborate with contractors and site engineers to implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Contractor & Vendor Management:



Evaluate contractor performance regarding quality metrics. Conduct quality orientation and regular training sessions for site staff, contractors, and labor to cultivate a "first-time-right" culture.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, including checklists, pour cards, snag lists, and handover documents. Prepare weekly and monthly quality management dashboards for senior leadership.
- Pre-Handover & Snagging: Lead the final snagging and de-snagging processes before project handover, ensuring the final product delivers on TRU Realty's luxury and structural promises to customers.
- Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to relevant IS codes, safety standards, and local statutory requirements related to building construction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 7-10 years of dedicated QA/QC experience, strictly within the real estate development or heavy residential/commercial construction sector. Experience with high-rise structures is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian Standard (IS) codes, advanced construction methodologies, MEP integration, and up-to-date finishing techniques (e.g., waterproofing, flooring, cladding).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural blueprints.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Office, and quality management tracking software. AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, with the authority and tact to enforce quality standards among diverse site teams and external contractors.
