- Design and engineer Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural steel systems.
- Prepare and review design calculations, GA drawings and structural drawings .
- Perform analysis and design of primary and secondary steel members .
- Design columns, rafters, purlins, girts, bracings and connections as per project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant IS codes and project specifications .
- Coordinate with Detailing, Estimation, Production and Project teams .
- Review fabrication/erection drawings and resolve technical queries.
- Ensure designs meet requirements related to strength, stability, serviceability and constructability .
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PEB and structural steel design .
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro / similar structural analysis software .
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD ; Tekla knowledge is an advantage.
- Positive understanding of IS 800, IS 875 and relevant Indian Standards .
- Knowledge of steel connections, load calculations and structural analysis.
