Expertise: Silos, Hoppers, Conveyor Systems, Bag Slitter, Bag Filter, Screw Conveyors, Belt Conveyors for Cement Plant.

Experience -8+Years Relevant

Educational Qualifications-Bachelors Degree in Mechanical (Masters preferred).

Experience required- 8–20 years of experience in dust collection, air pollution control, or ventilation system design.

Role Summary The Design Manager will lead and oversee the engineering design of bag filter (fabric filter) systems, including fabric sizing, airflow/technical volume calculations, ducting layout, pressure drop calculations, fan selection, and structural interfaces. The role requires deep expertise in ACGIH Industrial Ventilation norms, American safety practices related to construction equipment, and design requirements for bulk material handling plants.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead design of baghouse / fabric filter systems including air-to-cloth ratio, cloth area, bag sizing, and cleaning system parameters.
- Review and approve ducting layout, ensuring compliance with ACGIH guidelines.
- Validate complete pressure drop (P) analysis for ducts, fittings, hoods, baghouses, and stacks.
- Approve fan static pressure (FSP) calculations and final fan selection.




- Ensure accurate technical volume/airflow calculations for process equipment and dust sources.
- Guide structural interface requirements, equipment supports, platforms, and loading considerations.
- Ensure compliance with ACGIH safety recommendations.
- Lead and mentor a team of design engineers and CAD designers.
- Support execution, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven expertise in bag filter sizing, duct design, pressure drop calculations, and fan selection.
- Strong experience with bulk material handling plants (cement, mining, steel, fertilizer, power).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and engineering calculation tools.
