Role Description The Sr. Barista is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, responsible for leading daily beverage service and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role includes preparing and serving coffee and other café beverages to high standards, overseeing food preparation for menu items, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.

The Sr. Barista will guide and support junior baristas, help manage inventory and supplies, and uphold quality, safety, and hygiene standards. The role also involves engaging with guests,



sharing menu and café concept knowledge, handling customer feedback, and contributing to a welcoming setting that reflects the café’s indie music culture.

Qualifications

- Strong barista skills, including espresso-based drink preparation and coffee brewing techniques.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills to provide friendly, attentive, and respectful guest interactions.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with team members.
- Food preparation skills, with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety practices.
- Experience in a café or hospitality environment, preferably in a senior or lead barista position.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, stand for extended periods, and manage a fast-paced service environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory handling and point-of-sale systems is beneficial.
- Interest in music and willingness to engage with the café’s independent, original music concept.
