Were Hiring – RFQ & Estimation Engineer | Aerospace & Defense

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented RFQ & Estimation Engineer to join our team in the Aerospace & Defense sector.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review RFQs, BOQs, tender documents, and customer enquiries.

Analyze technical drawings, specifications, BOMs, and customer requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive quotations for components, assemblies, and projects.

Estimate costs related to raw materials, machining, manufacturing processes, treatments, labor, logistics, tooling, and overheads.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain material, process, and subcontracting costs.

Work closely with Design, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to validate technical and commercial inputs.

Conduct cost analysis, feasibility studies, risk assessment, and cost optimization.

Support supplier negotiations, proposal preparation, bid submissions, and technical documentation.





Ensure quotations comply with customer requirements, aerospace standards, quality requirements, and internal procedures.

Support management in cost control, process improvement, and profitability enhancement.

Desired Skills

Experience in RFQ management, estimation, costing, and quotation preparation.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, materials, and treatments.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.

Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.

Valuable analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

Experience in the Aerospace & Defense / Engineering / Manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
