Master’s in pharmacy or equivalent.

Min 7 to 10 years’ demonstrated experience in quality control function in pharma industry.

· Knowledge and understanding of analytical methodologies and instrumentation.

· Possession of good communication, troubleshooting and function skills.

· Proactive attitude towards work and learning new techniques.

· Good time management skills.

· Good organizational skills.

· Ability to work in a team.

· Principles of Environmental Health and Safety.

Job summary:

The Quality Control Analyst performs all testing and solution preparations, performs complex instrumental calibrations and maintenance, communicates between departments when reporting results, and executes all protocols as assigned by management. The analyst is also responsible for writing protocols & reports as well sampling raw material, semi-finished goods, stability samples and additional samples assigned. This position requires you to be fluent in all testing and laboratory requirements.

· This position reports to the QC Head of quality control (located at Tumakuru) producing extracts that are exported worldwide.

· Proficient with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP),



Positive laboratory practices (cGLP), FDA guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.

· To carry out sampling, analysis of samples, and documentation of the analytical procedures performed according to cGLP and standards in quality control and in-process QC.

· To ensure compliance with established procedures relevant to the EHS management system in line with the organization’s policies, procedures, international standards and local and EU regulations in the daily operation of the Department.

· To perform scheduled calibration of analytical instruments as per standards.

· Ability to operate independently all the analytical instruments such as GC-MS/MS, HPLC, ICP-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, HPTLC.

· Well-versed in instrument software such as empower, chromeleon, LC solution, UV probe, mass hunter etc.,

· Have sound technical knowledge on data interpretation of mass spectrometry.

· Knowledge of wet chemistry analysis such as loss on drying, sieve analysis, titrations etc.,

· Knowledge of documentation standards as per GLP & NABL.

· Knowledge of quality management system and laboratory management system.

· Knowledge of laboratory inventory management systems.

· In-depth knowledge of LIMS.
