Job Summary

The Senior Associate is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and delivering financial data and reports from S4 accounting records to support statutory reporting activities across multiple EMEA legal entities. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely provision of financial information required by the EMEA Statutory team and local providers.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Data and Reporting Support

- Prepare and deliver financial data extracts, reports, and analyses from US GAAP accounting records to support statutory reporting processes

- Ensure data provided to the EMEA Statutory team is accurate, complete, and submitted within required deadlines

- Reconcile and validate financial information across multiple reporting sources

- Investigate data variances and resolve reporting discrepancies in collaboration with relevant finance teams

- Maintain documentation supporting reported balances and financial analyses

Financial Information Management

- Compile and organize financial information required for statutory accounts preparation and regulatory reporting

- Provide supporting documents, schedules, reconciliations, and detailed financial analysis upon request

- Maintain reporting templates and standardized datasets to support consistent reporting practices

- Assist in the preparation of recurring and ad hoc management reports

Data Quality and Controls

- Perform data validation checks to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information

- Support compliance with internal controls and financial reporting policies

- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, standardization, and data quality





- Maintain explicit audit trails and documentation supporting reported figures

Stakeholder Support

- Collaborate with accounting, RTR, controlling, and statutory reporting teams across the EMEA region

- Respond to requests for financial information and provide supporting explanations of reported results

- Support finance projects and initiatives that require financial data analysis and reporting expertise

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor s/master s degree in accounting, Finance or qualified/semi-qualified CA, CMA or a related discipline

- 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, record-to-report (RTR), or finance operations

- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting data structures

- Experience working with large datasets and performing financial reconciliations

- Advanced Excel skills;

experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms

- Knowledge of US GAAP reporting principles is preferred
