Role Description The Sr Admission Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Panchkula, responsible for guiding prospective students through the complete admission lifecycle. Day-to-day activities include counseling candidates on IPB’s programs, explaining course offerings and career outcomes, and assessing eligibility based on educational and professional background. The role involves managing inquiries via walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and digital platforms, conducting follow-up with leads, and maintaining accurate records in the admission management system.

The Sr Admission

Counselor will participate in outreach activities such as seminars, college visits, and events,



and work closely with the academic and placement teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for enrolled students. The role also includes meeting admission targets, preparing regular reports, and contributing feedback to improve processes and learner engagement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with prospective students, families, and institutional partners.
- Candidates should possess skills in counseling, student guidance, and relationship management to support individuals in making informed educational and career decisions.
- Candidates should possess basic sales, negotiation, and lead conversion skills to meet admission targets ethically and professionally.
- Candidates should possess organizational, time management, and documentation skills to handle multiple inquiries, maintain records, and produce periodic reports.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with MS Office tools, CRM or admission management systems, and digital communication platforms for effective daily operations.
- Relevant experience in admissions, counseling, education, training, or banking/financial services will be beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required; a postgraduate qualification in management, education, or related fields is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a target-driven environment, with a learner-centric mindset and high standards of professional ethics.
