Position Overview

Navkar Metal India is seeking a hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager to lead end-to-end financial operations, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and working capital management. This hybrid role combines strategic financial planning with direct oversight of daily accounting, GST/TDS filings, and banking facilities in a manufacturing/trading setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounting & Book Closing: Oversee general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, month-end closing, and vendor/customer reconciliation using Tally Prime / ERP.
- Statutory & Tax Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with GST (GSTR-1, 3B, 9), TDS/TCS, e-invoicing, and income tax regulations. Lead statutory, tax, and GST audits.
- Working Capital & Treasury: Manage cash flow, daily bank reconciliations, and banking facilities including Cash Credit (CC) limits, Letters of Credit (LC),



and Bank Guarantees (BG).
- Inventory & Cost Control: Handle stock valuation, scrap accounting, raw material reconciliation, and product-wise profitability analysis.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;): Prepare annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, variance reports, and monthly management dashboards for senior leadership.

Key Requirements
- Education: CA, MBA (Finance), or M.Com / Inter CA with strong relevant experience.
- Experience: 5–9 years in accounting and finance, preferably in metal, manufacturing, capital goods, or industrial trading sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), GSTN/TRACES portals, and banking trade portals.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, inventory valuation (FIFO/Weighted Average), tax planning, and team management.
