We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager to lead our Accounts & Finance function. The role will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, reconciliations, and financial controls.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, taxation, financial reporting, and Excel , along with the ability to manage and guide the Accounts team.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and financial records.
- Review and verify accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
- Ensure timely monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
- Monitor sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.

Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet, MIS, and other management reports .
- Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial performance.
- Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Manage timely compliance and filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, PF, ESIC , and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Review GST and TDS reconciliations.
- Maintain proper statutory records and documentation.
- Coordinate with CA, tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation regulations.

Reconciliation & Internal Controls
- Prepare and review Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) .
- Reconcile customer, vendor, and inter-company accounts.
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.

Audit Management
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and GST audits .




- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Respond to audit queries and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.

Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and guide the Accounts team.
- Review the work and accounting entries prepared by team members.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor deadlines.
- Train and develop junior accounting staff.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all accounting activities.

Payroll & Compliance Support
- Review payroll accounting and salary reconciliations.
- Coordinate with HR for PF, ESIC, TDS, Skilled Tax, and other payroll-related compliances.
- Ensure proper accounting of employee expenses and statutory liabilities.

Management Support
- Provide accurate financial information and reports to senior management.
- Support cost-control and process-improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency and financial controls.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management as required.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
- Relevant experience in Accounts & Finance .
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and statutory compliance .
- Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel .
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in F&B;, QSR, Retail, Hospitality, or multi-outlet businesses will be an added advantage.
- CA/CA Inter/ICWA qualification will be an advantage.
