Senior Sales Account Executive APAC or Enterprise Account Executive – India & APAC Verticals

Exterro is seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Account Executive APAC to join our dynamic SaaS sales team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of International Sales, this Individual Contributor will manage and identify net new business into the assigned region and and scale our high velocity Sales
APAC focusing on India, Singapore, and Australia Current Zealand, ensuring the achievement of pipeline, bookings, and revenue goals while abiding a culture of accountability, development and operational excellence.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to drive net-new logo acquisition and strategic account expansion across India and key regional markets.
In this individual contributor role, you will be directly responsible for executing complex enterprise sales cycles within highly regulated industries—specifically Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, IT/ITeS Majors, and Large Enterprise Verticals. You will position our industry-leading Data Privacy, eDiscovery, Digital Forensics, and Legal GRC software suite to C-suite executives, General Counsels, Chief Privacy Officers, and CISOs.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Revenue Generation: Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual quota targets through net-new enterprise acquisition and expansion within named target accounts across India and assigned APAC enterprise verticals.
Channel Collaboration & Joint Business: Partner closely with channel ecosystem partners—including Value-Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators (SIs), and Big Four consulting firms—to map account coverage, co-sell, and close joint business across your assigned regions.
Complex Enterprise Sales Execution:
Lead end-to-end sales cycles—from initial discovery and account mapping through technical evaluation, business case justification, procurement, and contract execution.
Vertical Expertise & Positioning: Deeply understand the regulatory, risk, and compliance landscapes governing key verticals (e.g., DPDP Act mandates, RBI guidelines, CERT-In reporting rules, HIPAA/Data Privacy in Healthcare, and IT/ITeS cross-border data transfer rules).
Multi-Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships across multi-buyer personas, including Legal/General Counsel, Chief Privacy Officers (CPOs), Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), and IT/Compliance leadership.
Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene (Salesforce), providing accurate monthly and quarterly pipeline generation, stage progression, and ARR forecasting.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner effectively with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Legal, and Marketing teams to build tailored proposals and navigate complex enterprise RFPs/tenders.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven Track Record: 9–15+ years of direct, quota-carrying software sales experience in Enterprise SaaS, Cybersecurity and or LegalTech, Compliance, or Governance/Risk software.
India Enterprise Mastery: Demonstrated experience selling directly into Tier-1 enterprise accounts, Global Capability Centers (GCCs), and conglomerates across major Indian hubs (Mumbai, Bengaluru, NCR, Hyderabad).
Vertical Expertise: Proven success closing multi-year enterprise deals ($100K+ ARR) within BFSI, Healthcare, Pharma, IT/ITeS, and major corporate verticals.
Channel Co-Selling: Strong background working alongside regional channel partners, distributors, and consultancy networks to map partner customer bases and close joint business opportunities.
Regulatory Acumen: Strong understanding of how Indian and international data privacy laws, breach reporting requirements, and litigation readiness frameworks impact corporate buying behaviors.(ideal)
High-Value Deal Navigation: Expertise in navigating complex corporate procurement, security assessments, legal reviews, and C-suite negotiations.
Self-Starter & Pipeline Builder: Demonstrated ability to prospect independently, execute targeted account-based strategy plays, and maintain a healthy pipeline (3-4x quota coverage).
Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills in English.
What Success Looks Like in Year 1 - Example
Q1: Complete product/solution conboarding, map out top 20 named target accounts across India, initiate partner account mapping sessions, and generate 3x pipeline coverage. (ideal ownership of own business network to leverage)
Q2: Close initial expansion/net-new deals, establish steady co-selling cadence with key channel partners on joint opportunities, and advance enterprise RFPs.
Q3–Q4: Consistently hit/exceed monthly pipeline generation ($250K+ monthly) and achieve full annual quota target through both direct and partner-led motions.
