About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled PLSQL Developer to join our dynamic team at TCS. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining complex database applications using PL/SQL, along with scripting in Unix Shell.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating efficient and reliable database solutions. The role is based in Pune, Bangalore, or Mumbai, with the flexibility to work remotely or on-site, depending on project needs.





Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development and Unix Shell Scripting. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university is essential.

Candidates with certifications in database management or scripting will have an added advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team workplace are critical. Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand complex technical requirements are also necessary for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages to support business applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing database scripts and applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Create and maintain Unix Shell scripts for automation and data processing tasks.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Document technical specifications, processes,



and procedures for future reference and compliance.
- Assist in performance tuning and database optimization activities to enhance system efficiency.
- Support production environments by monitoring system health and resolving issues promptly.
