About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SQL and PL/SQL development, with a proven track record of working on complex database projects. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions that support our modernization initiatives and ensure optimal data performance.

The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions. Qualifications The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL development. A strong understanding of various database management systems such as Oracle,



DB2 for i, DB2 for z, DB2 LUW, and SQL Server is essential. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including star schema and snowflake schema architectures.

Basic knowledge of Linux environments is preferred, along with experience working with Micro Focus COBOL in Linux, which would be considered an advantage. Additional familiarity with ANT build tasks, NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Couchbase, and scripting skills will enhance candidacy. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities The primary responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts to support business applications and data warehousing projects. The developer will analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance optimization. Collaboration with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver seamless data solutions is key.

The role also involves troubleshooting database issues, performing code reviews, and implementing best practices for database development. Additionally, the developer will assist in optimizing existing database systems,



contributing to the migration and modernization efforts, and supporting Linux-based environments when necessary. Continuous learning and staying updated with the latest database technologies and trends are expected to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of data management innovation.
