We are looking for an enthusiastic SPM Assembly Intern who is interested in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Assembly and Industrial Automation. The candidate will work with senior assembly engineers and gain practical experience in machine assembly and fitting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in SPM machine assembly.
- Support assembly and fitting of mechanical components.
- Read and understand basic mechanical drawings and BOMs.
- Assist in fixture, jig, and machine mechanism assembly.
- Support alignment, leveling, fitting, and machine setup.
- Assist with pneumatic connections and routing.
- Support machine trials and identify basic assembly issues.
- Assist in rectifying mechanical issues during machine assembly.
- Maintain proper tools, components, and workplace safety.
- Learn practical SPM assembly and automation processes from senior engineers.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components.
- Ability to understand basic engineering drawings.
- Interest in SPM and Industrial Automation.
- Basic knowledge of fitting and assembly is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn practical machine assembly.
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
Qualification ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering or related field
