We are looking for a Design Engineer Intern who is interested in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Design and Industrial Automation. Candidates with knowledge or completed courses in SolidWorks and AutoCAD are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in designing Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
- Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare basic 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in designing machine components, fixtures, jigs, and structures.
- Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and basic manufacturing requirements.
- Assist in preparing BOM and fabrication drawings.
- Support the design team during machine assembly and development.
- Make design modifications based on production and assembly requirements.
- Learn practical SPM design and automation concepts under the guidance of senior engineers.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Interest in SPM Design and Automation.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components and engineering drawings.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Freshers looking to start their career in SPM Design.
- Candidates who have completed a SolidWorks / AutoCAD course.
- Candidates with basic knowledge of 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
