Role of a speech -language Therapist at Beyond Limitations:

The Speech-Language Therapist will be responsible for empowering children to communicate effectively by addressing speech, language, and swallowing disorders. At a center focused on "beyond limitations," your goal is to look past a diagnosis and create functional, real-world communication strategies that help students integrate into mainstream social and academic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct detailed evaluations of speech, language, and communication abilities to identify specific delays or disorders (e.g., ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome).
- Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with Special Educators, Occupational Therapists, and parents to ensure a 360-degree support system for the child.
- Parent Empowerment: Conduct counseling sessions and provide home-based exercise plans to ensure therapy continues beyond the classroom.




- Progress Documentation: Maintain rigorous clinical records and monthly progress reports to track and adjust therapy goals.
- Oral Motor Therapy: Implement feeding and swallowing interventions where necessary to strengthen muscle coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP).
- Certification: Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience (Freshers with a robust internship background in pediatric setups are welcome).
- Soft Skills: High levels of patience, empathy, and the ability to simplify complex therapeutic goals for family members.
