Role Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Executive to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for validating product quality across functional and non-functional dimensions, ensuring defect-free releases, and contributing to a strong testing culture. The role involves manual testing, test case design, defect tracking, and hands-on exposure to automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, document, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements.
- Perform Functional and Non-Functional Testing (usability, compatibility, performance basics).
- Execute Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing cycles for every build/release.
- Apply test design techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) and Equivalence Class Partitioning (ECP) to ensure maximum coverage with optimal test cases.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through their lifecycle using JIRA; maintain clean and well-documented tickets, dashboards, and sprint boards.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners during sprint ceremonies (standups, grooming, retrospectives).
- Contribute to test automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java (good to have) writing, maintaining, and executing automation scripts.
- Perform API testing using Postman (good to have)



- validating request/response, status codes, and payloads.
- Prepare and share test summary reports, defect metrics, and release signoffs.
- Continuously improve testing processes, checklists, and reusable test artifacts.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Solid grasp of manual testing concepts - functional, non-functional, regression, smoke, sanity.
- Practical knowledge of BVA and Equivalence Partitioning test design techniques.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect management and sprint tracking.

Positive to Have :

- Experience with Postman for API testing.
- Exposure to TestNG / JUnit, Maven, and Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and SQL for backend validation.
- Working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver with Java for UI automation.
- Basic understanding of Java (OOPs concepts, collections, exception handling).
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
- AI Assist Tester by using Claude, Gemini etc..

Qualifications :

- Education : B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (mandatory).
- Experience : 1 - 3 years in software quality assurance / testing roles.
