About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment and intervention for children with speech, language, communication and feeding-related difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct speech and language assessments and identify individual communication needs.
- Plan and provide individualised speech and language therapy sessions.
- Work with children with autism, developmental delays, speech and language delays, apraxia, articulation difficulties and other communication needs.
- Develop functional communication, receptive and expressive language, articulation and social communication skills.
- Use evidence-based and play-based intervention strategies appropriate to each child’s developmental level.
- Introduce and support AAC/alternative communication methods when required.
- Maintain session notes, therapy goals, progress reports and other clinical documentation.
- Regularly monitor and document the child’s progress and modify goals accordingly.
- Provide parents/caregivers with appropriate home-program recommendations.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, special educators, behaviour therapists and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.




- Communicate professionally with parents regarding the child’s progress and therapy requirements.
- Participate in case discussions and team meetings when required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing (BASLP/MASLP).
- Valid RCI registration where applicable.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in autism, developmental delays and early intervention will be preferred.
