Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing speech, language, and communication challenges, with a focus on supporting children and adult’s health needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based speech therapy sessions, and documenting progress in accordance with organizational standards. The role involves collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals in the network to ensure coordinated and holistic care, providing education to clients and families, and contributing to community awareness initiatives about communication and swallowing disorders.

in office role based in Mangaluru, requiring regular interaction with clients in clinical and community settings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and clinical management of speech-related conditions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in managing Dysphagia and related swallowing difficulties.
- Relevant degree or certification in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution, with appropriate licensure or registration as required.
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Strong documentation, assessment, and treatment planning skills, with familiarity in evidence-based practices.
- Commitment to gender-sensitive, inclusive care and comfort working with diverse populations in community and home-based settings.
- Prior experience in clinical or community-based speech therapy, especially in women’s health or related settings, is an advantage.
