Your Impact You will serve as a strategic communications thought partner for the office, shaping the overall communications strategy to support employee engagement, office initiatives and executive communications. You will build and manage an integrated communications calendar, produce flagship internal newsletters and office-wide updates, design and execute communications campaigns for priority themes like Centennial and Values Day, and support communications for major employee events and culture-building moments.
Your work will help translate office priorities into clear, consistent communications that make initiatives visible, understandable, and connected to the broader employee experience, ultimately creating meaningful engagement and reinforcing the office narrative.
You will play a key role helping leadership convey priorities clearly and helping colleagues feel informed, connected, and engaged during major INO moments. Well-run internal communications directly shape employee experience, trust in leadership, and office culture — making it a lever for retention, morale, and alignment with the firm's broader strategy, not just a support function.
You will be a part of the Office Strategic Initiatives team. This team works closely with INO’s Managing Partner on key initiatives. You will be handling all communication and employee engagement-related initiatives.
Specific responsibilities include
Leadership Communications and Internal Editorial Products
Your work is responsible for producing flagship internal newsletters and office-wide updates, including Glorious INO and other OM partner/client newsletters. Your work involves developing high-quality communications assets, including announcements, leadership messages, talking points, briefs, newsletters, event scripts, campaign copy, intranet content, and stakeholder updates. In this capacity, you will maintain a high editorial bar for clarity, tone, relevance, consistency, and alignment with office priorities, while helping leaders communicate priorities in a clear, compelling, timely, and human way.
Priority Campaigns and Thematic Office Initiatives
You will also be responsible for designing and executing planned communications campaigns around priority office themes and initiatives. You will support campaigns connected to the Centennial, Glorious INO pillars, values and mission, employee welfare, mental health, mentorship, sponsorship, inclusion, resilience, connectivity, and AI adoption. Additionally, the position involves structuring thematic campaigns for major moments such as Values Day, ensuring alignment across pre-event, live-event, and post-event communications, while creating campaign narratives that connect individual initiatives to the broader office story.
Office and Employee Communications Strategy and Governance
You will serve as a strategic communications thought partner for the office, shaping the overall employee engagement and OM communications strategy. You will be responsible for defining the communications cadence, messaging architecture, channel mix, and governance approach across office-wide channels. In addition, you will build and manage an integrated communications calendar to reduce fragmentation, duplication, and ad hoc messaging, while guiding the volume, timing, quality, and effectiveness of all-colleague communications to ensure they are relevant, coordinated, and impactful.
Office Priorities and Stakeholder Messaging
Your work translates office priorities, leadership themes, and battleground strategies into clear, consistent communications. You will tailor messaging for key stakeholder groups, including partners, senior partners, colleagues, alumni, practice teams, and specific cohorts. Additionally, the position is responsible for producing targeted OM communications for major updates and priority moments, including year-end messages, practice rotations, and partner elections, while ensuring consistency of messaging across audiences, channels, and leadership voices.
Employee Lifecycle and People Communications In this capacity, you will partner with the People team to create communications and engagement moments across the employee lifecycle. You will support communications related to onboarding, learning, performance, progression, culture, engagement, and retention. Additionally, you will develop communications for People-led priorities and FPS-driven actions, including mental health, mentorship, sponsorship, inclusion, and employee listening, while making People initiatives visible, understandable, and connected to the broader employee experience.
Events, Townhalls, and Colleague Engagement
You will lead or support communications for major employee events and culture-building moments, including Values Day, election celebrations, IWD, Day of Pink, onboarding, and office retreats. You will be responsible for developing event messaging, campaigns, speaker briefs, OM talking points, run-of-show materials, and follow-up communications. Additionally, you will support the planning and production of INO colleague townhalls and engagement forums, ensuring events and forums reinforce the office narrative, celebrate colleagues, and create meaningful engagement.
Partner, Leadership, and Senior Forums
You will support the planning, content development, production, and hosting of partner meetings, leadership meetings, and other senior forums. You will be responsible for preparing leadership messaging, agendas, briefing materials, stakeholder context,
and follow-up communications. Additionally, you will plan and execute communications support for senior colleague visits and roadshows, including GMP and SP visits, while helping leaders engage partners and senior stakeholders with clear, consistent, purposeful, and relevant messaging.
Practice, Client, Alumni, and Social Impact Amplification In this capacity, you will support OM communications around alumni engagement, social responsibility initiatives, and related office priorities, while partnering with Client Activation teams to support one to two priority practices and increase awareness of their priorities and impact. Your work also amplifies practice successes, toolkits, bespoke tools, playbooks, client impact stories, alumni efforts, and community initiatives, actively surfacing stories that demonstrate client impact, community contribution, innovation, and office momentum.
Channels, Storytelling, and Content Amplification
You will drive stronger INO representation in key firm internal channels by identifying, shaping, and pitching compelling stories. You will partner with Reach and Engagement and relevant teams to create high-quality content for social media, blogs, and other external-adjacent channels. Additionally, you will maintain and update the local office intranet and reinforce priority themes across digital screens, office mailers, Slack, newsletters, and other channels, ensuring all channel content is accurate, compelling, coordinated, and aligned with the broader office narrative.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Impact Measurement
You will serve as a single cross-functional communications point of contact across Strategic Initiatives, OMP, People, RE, Admin, Finance, IT, Client Activation, and practice teams. Your work aligns input across functions and brings a broader office-wide lens to communications planning and execution, coordinating messaging across teams to improve consistency, reduce duplication, and strengthen impact. Furthermore, you will track effectiveness through pulse checks, post-event surveys, newsletter open rates, campaign feedback, engagement metrics, and other indicators, using insights to improve future communications.
