The Specialist - Data and Analytics will lead the automation of data collection, processing, retention and reporting across the organization. The incumbent will lead the design, development, and implementation of data analytics and reporting solutions. This includes developing interactive Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, writing scripts to connect and integrate multiple data sources including information systems, and ensuring automated, accurate, timely, and secure data flow for reporting.

He / She will collaborate with stakeholders at school, regional, and country levels to transform data into actionable insights that improve decision-making, teaching, and learning outcomes. This role demands technical expertise in workflow automation, data processing, analytics and dashboard reporting.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Implementation of KPI Framework and Strategy:

- Lead the implementation of the KPI framework across the organization.
- Provide expert-level support on data-related matters and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in BI, analytics, and data processing.

Business Intelligence, System Integration, and Analytics Tools:

- Implement approved tools for business intelligence, information system integrations, data analytics and reporting.
- Develop and maintain technical scripts to connect, extract and transform data from multiple data sources including information systems and databases to satisfy reporting needs.




- Design and develop dashboard reports to meet organizational information and reporting needs.

Data Management, Analysis, and Insights:

- Lead the implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, privacy, and security across the region/ country.
- Ensure that data management guidelines are followed.
- Utilize technology and software-based creative solutions to automate business processes and workflows.
- Develop mechanism for improved data collection and sharing (through approved tools) from/ to internal and external stakeholders (i.e., surveys, local teams, national and international boards, etc.), validation, analysis and reporting.
- Use approved technologies and tools to retain organizational data in organizational information systems and data-warehouse in a secure manner.
- Lead academic performance reporting across region/ country and curricula.
- Collaborate with departments and data owners to identify and analyze key data insights that can also improve teaching and learning across the network of schools in the region/ country.
- Provide reports of appropriate quality to management and governance, as needed.
- Contribute to the implementation of data analytics (dashboards) and operational reports to satisfy information needs.

Data Literacy and Capacity Building:

- Ensure timely delivery of analytics outputs.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on BI tools, data integration, and data literacy.
- Provide technical guidance on data-driven decision-making processes.
