About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Search, SEO & Taxonomy Specialist to drive the strategy, optimization, and governance of our enterprise search ecosystem. This role will be responsible for improving search relevance, content discoverability, metadata frameworks, taxonomy design, and search analytics across platforms including ServiceNow AI Search, Employee Center, and SharePoint.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in enterprise search technologies, information architecture, taxonomy management, SEO principles, and data-driven optimization to create seamless digital employee experiences and improve knowledge discovery.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Search Strategy &; Optimization

- Develop and execute enterprise search strategies that improve content discoverability and self-service adoption.
- Optimize search relevance, ranking models, synonyms, stop words, promoted results, and search tuning.
- Identify and resolve search friction points through user behavior analysis.
- Establish best practices for enterprise search design and governance.

ServiceNow AI Search & Employee Center
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow AI Search experiences.
- Improve search relevance, indexing, result ranking, and content recommendations.
- Partner with platform teams to enhance Employee Center search experiences.
- Monitor search performance and recommend ongoing improvements.
- Support implementation of AI-driven search capabilities and personalization.

SharePoint Search Optimization

- Optimize SharePoint search schema, managed properties, crawled properties, and search experiences.
- Improve content discoverability across SharePoint Online environments.
- Configure metadata-driven navigation and search refiners.




- Partner with content owners to enhance indexing and search effectiveness.

Taxonomy & Metadata Management
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise taxonomies, vocabularies,

tagging standards, and metadata frameworks.
- Establish governance processes for taxonomy updates and content classification.
- Define metadata standards that improve search precision and findability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align taxonomies with user needs and business processes.

SEO &; Content Findability
- Apply enterprise SEO and search optimization techniques to improve content visibility.
- Optimize titles, descriptions, keywords, metadata, and content structures.
- Conduct content audits to identify opportunities for search performance improvements.
- Partner with content creators and knowledge managers to improve information quality and discoverability.

Search Analytics & Insights
- Analyze search analytics, click-through rates, zero-result searches, search abandonment rates, and user journeys.
- Develop dashboards and performance reports for stakeholders.
- Identify trends, content gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Use data insights to improve search effectiveness and employee experience.

Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish enterprise search governance frameworks and standards.
- Define KPIs, SLAs, and success metrics for search performance.
- Conduct periodic audits of search relevance, metadata quality, and taxonomy compliance.
- Promote continuous improvement through data-driven recommendations.

Required Qualifications





- Minimum 4 years of experience in Enterprise Search, Taxonomy

Management, Information Architecture, SEO, Knowledge Management, or Digital Employee Experience.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI Search and Employee Center.
- Experience optimizing SharePoint Online search capabilities.
- Strong understanding of search relevance models, metadata, taxonomy, and content classification.
- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise taxonomies and metadata frameworks.
- Proficiency in search analytics and performance measurement.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Viva Connections.
- Understanding of Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) methodologies.
- Experience with AI-powered search solutions, semantic search, and generative AI technologies.
- Background in UX research, content strategy, or information architecture.
- Familiarity with enterprise knowledge management platforms.
