Senior Business Analyst

8-12 years of overall experience with strong expertise in Business Analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, and Agile delivery.

Role Summary The Senior Business Analyst works closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and delivery teams to elicit, document, and clarify requirements. The role supports backlog quality and functional clarity, ensuring user stories are well-defined and development-ready, while operating under the guidance of the Product Owner or Specialist BA for prioritization and product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Requirements & Documentation: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and workflows under the guidance of the Product Owner
- Backlog Support: Support backlog grooming and refinement, ensuring stories are transparent, well-structured, and ready for development.
- Solution Collaboration: Work with Product Owners, Architects, UI/UX designers, Developers, and QA during solution design and delivery; flag requirement gaps, assumptions,



dependencies, and edge cases.
- Delivery Support: Provide functional clarification during development and testing; support defect triage, UAT coordination, and business acceptance activities.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders to gather input, validate requirements, and communicate progress or blockers.
- Documentation & Traceability: Maintain requirement traceability, user story documentation, and business rule records.

Key Skills

- Requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
- Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Good stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Exposure to UI/UX collaboration in requirement and story refinement.
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Draw.io.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
