Role Description The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized and small-group instruction to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring that each child receives appropriate academic, social, and emotional support. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans, adapting curriculum and classroom activities, and using specialized strategies to support students with disabilities.

The teacher will collaborate closely with therapists, families, and other educators to monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment,



supporting behavior management plans, and participating in team meetings and professional development. This is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Special Education and working with learners with Disabilities.
- Candidates should possess effective Teaching skills, including experience with Middle School or similar age groups.
- Candidates should possess clear and empathetic Communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant degree or certification in Special Education or a related field; training in child development or psychology is an advantage.
- Experience creating individualized education plans, adapting curriculum, and using evidence-based instructional strategies.
- Ability to maintain detailed records, track student progress, and use data to inform instructional decisions.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and a child-centered, family-focused approach.
- Prior experience in a school, learning center, or therapy-based setting is preferred.
