Spare Parts Assistant will undergo structured training in all spare parts operations including inventory management, procurement coordination, parts sales, stock control, warehouse management, and dealer management systems (DMS). The role is designed to develop future Parts Managers who can ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize stock discrepancies, and improve parts sales profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management & Control

Assist in maintaining optimum stock levels. Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.

Support monthly stock audits and reconciliation.

Ensure proper binning and warehouse organization.

Track stock ageing and initiate corrective actions.

1. Parts Sales & Revenue Support

Support counter sales and workshop parts supply. Coordinate with service advisors for timely parts availability.

Promote genuine parts and accessories.

Assist in achieving parts sales targets.

1. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

Raise purchase orders as per requirement. Follow up with OEM/dealer for parts supply.

Monitor pending orders and backorders.

Ensure timely inwarding and GRN processing.

1. Documentation & System Management

Maintain accurate entries in DMS/ERP.



Track daily parts consumption and shortages.

Prepare MIS reports for management review.

Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

1. Warehouse & Logistics Operations

Supervise receiving, storage, and dispatch of parts. Ensure proper handling of high-value and fragile items.

Implement 5S and safety standards in store operations.

1. Customer & Internal Coordination

Coordinate with Bodyshop and Service departments. Handle parts-related customer queries.

Support warranty parts return process.

Eligibility Criteria

Plus Two

0–2 years of experience (Freshers can apply).

Basic knowledge of automobile components preferred.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Proficiency in MS Office & basic ERP knowledge preferred.
