We are looking for an experienced Spare Parts In-Charge to manage spare parts operations across our Kumbakonam and Thiruvarur locations. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, parts procurement, stock control, billing coordination, and ensuring timely availability of parts for service operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day spare parts department operations at both locations.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory, stock records, and bin locations.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely parts ordering and procurement.
- Coordinate with OEM/dealers and suppliers for parts availability and delivery.
- Ensure proper GRN, inward, outward, issue and return procedures.
- Coordinate with the Service Department for timely issue of required parts.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving and non-moving stock.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, identification and handling of spare parts.
- Monitor parts sales, stock value and pending orders.
- Control obsolete, damaged and excess inventory.
- Prepare and submit regular stock and parts-related reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with company and OEM spare parts procedures.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in automobile spare parts operations preferred.
- Experience in an automobile dealership/service workshop will be an advantage.
- Valuable knowledge of automotive spare parts and inventory management.
- Working knowledge of DMS/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Good communication, coordination and team-handling skills.
- Willingness to coordinate operations between Kumbakonam and Thiruvarur.
