Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Spa Therapist role based in Almora at Arth By Mayfair Kumaon.

The Spa

Therapist will provide skilled spa treatments such as massages, body therapies, and relaxation rituals according to established protocols and guest preferences. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, managing treatment schedules, and ensuring that spa equipment and supplies are properly stocked and cared for. The role involves consulting with guests to understand their needs, offering suitable treatment recommendations, and delivering an attentive, high-quality service experience.

The Spa

Therapist will also support overall spa operations, assist with basic reception duties when needed,



and collaborate with team members to uphold the wellness and hospitality standards of the property.

Qualifications

- Formal training or certification in spa therapy, massage therapy, or wellness treatments, with strong practical skills in a range of therapies.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications to ensure safe, effective treatments tailored to diverse guest needs.
- Commitment to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards within treatment rooms and common spa areas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage respectfully with guests, understand preferences, and provide clear guidance on treatments.
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor, manage time effectively, and work cooperatively with colleagues in a hospitality environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by guest demand.
- Prior experience in a spa, wellness center, or hospitality setting is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency with booking or point-of-sale systems and willingness to learn spa operating procedures.
