Job Summary:

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing activities for assigned Sites and Business Units. The role focuses on executing RFQ/RFP processes, negotiating with suppliers, selecting the best-value suppliers, and ensuring alignment with Flowserve’s global sourcing strategy, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities

- Execute sourcing events through approved system workflows for Sites and Business Units.

- Manage the complete RFQ/RFP process, including supplier identification, bid evaluation, negotiation, and supplier selection.

- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, delivery, quality, and contractual requirements with suppliers.

- Finalize and maintain agreements such as price lists and teaming agreements in applicable ERP and sourcing systems.

- Ensure compliance with global category strategies, including engagement with preferred and partner suppliers.

- Initiate and expedite recent supplier onboarding or supplier master changes through the MDG-Supplier process.

- Identify supplier and supply-chain risks and escalate through the appropriate channels.

- Support Commercial Operations with supply-chain quotations for tender and bid activities.

- Ensure compliance with Flowserve policies, procedures, safety requirements, and sourcing guidelines.

Main Objectives

- Drive cost reduction and value improvement opportunities.

- Ensure sourcing-guide and global category-strategy compliance.

- Maintain commercial terms and contractual compliance.





- Reduce past-due purchase requisitions through timely sourcing execution.

- Support HSE metrics and local compliance requirements.

- Improve supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing.

- At least 1 year of direct sourcing and supplier-negotiation experience.

- Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes and supplier selection activities.

- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and sourcing tools such as Ariba.

- Understanding of commercial terms, contracts, supplier management, and market dynamics.

- Certified Supply Chain Professional certification is preferred.

- Willingness to travel or relocate for development opportunities, as required.
