Position - Sourcing_ Sr. Executive - SCM

Position Reports to Head - SCM

Role Overview

Responsible for market development, and operational sales work with assigned Key Accounts. Leads sales and product management efforts to assigned Automotive Key Accounts. Leads the selling process for all battery products. Acts as primary point of contact for assigned Key Accounts. Leverages relationship between customer, market and Cygni management. Analyses feasibility of technical specs in RFQ s.

What You Will Do

- Develop and execute global or regional sourcing strategies for lithium-ion battery cells, packs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and raw materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard Tier-1 domestic and international cell and component suppliers
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, lead times, and long-term supply agreements to lower costs.
- Partner with engineering, product, quality, and legal teams to align component specifications with technical and safety requirements.
- Mitigate supply chain risks, monitor market volatility, and ensure compliance with import/export regulations (such as EXIM, customs, and environmental safety laws)




- Maintain detailed records of quality audits and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root causes of any issues during Development
- Ensure compliances of SCM policies and procedure.

What You Will Need

- 4-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, Negotiations, Costing ,Procurement Vendor Management
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering, (Preferred Industry: Energy Storage System /Electronics Manufacturing / Electric Vehicles/Automotive)
- Should have Excellent communication ,Fluency in English interpersonal skills
- Well versed with Sourcing Policies, Contracts Agreements
