Role/Job Summary:

Responsible to enable the smooth operation of the global procurement activities and due diligence is adhered with a high quality of standard. The ideal candidate will have experience in a supply chain start-up environment, as well as very familiar in SAP.

Key responsibilities include order management, material planning, inventory management, key order terms, Global supply chain, International Logistics, Taxation, P2P Cycle, Supplier relationships, Stakeholder management, On time delivery and driving cost savings initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage purchasing cycle including request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow up, goods/services receipt, supplier billing and purchase forecasting.
- Good knowledge of supplier negotiations , terms finalisation and contracting.
- Direct hands-on and working on supplier delivery, P2P cycle. Maintaining PR to PO Tat and ensuring on time delivery while optimising inventories
- Highlight raw material/supply issues or delays to end user and procurement manager and resolve day-to-day supply chain and procurement issues working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Tracking of all procurement activities, deliveries, and all related status, and day-to-day co-ordination and communications with suppliers, freight forwarders/carriers, and internal logistics and warehousing team




- Handle miscellaneous projects or purchase as and when necessary.
- Ensure that procurement activities are carried out in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Identify, Remediate, Track and Close out procurement related open items
- Analyze purchasing trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in procurement.

Key Attributes (Experience, Qualifications, & Skillsets)

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with additional course in supply chain or management is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain role
- Proficient in MS Office applications and procurement systems like SAP MM and Ariba
- Strong interpersonal and communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills-ability to collaborate with and motivate key players to achieve desired results in a skilled manner
- Dynamic, independent, good team player & committed with proactive working attitude
- Self-starter attitude, ability to work independently with appropriate support and guidance
- High energy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up business environment dealing with ambiguity
