KPN Fresh is looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager – F&V; to manage end-to-end Fruits & Vegetables sourcing and procurement for the Pune region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage F&V; sourcing and procurement for Pune.
- Develop and manage relationships with farmers, vendors, aggregators and mandi partners.
- Negotiate prices, quality and supply terms.
- Monitor market prices, seasonality and product availability.
- Ensure required quality, freshness and availability of F&V.;
- Control procurement cost, wastage, rejection and shrinkage.
- Identify new suppliers and alternate sourcing channels.
- Work closely with Category, Quality,
Supply Chain, DC and Operations teams.
- Visit farms, mandis and supplier locations as required.
Required Skills
- 7–14+ years of experience in F&V; / Fresh Produce Sourcing or Procurement.
- Experience in Retail, FMCG, Grocery, Modern Trade or E-commerce.
- Strong farmer/mandi sourcing, vendor management and negotiation experience.
- Valuable knowledge of F&V; markets, pricing, quality and seasonality.
- Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
