About us: House of Ikari started with wallpaper and is growing into a home decor brand: tableware, drinkware, and decor objects with a modern Indian soul. We ship worldwide and care deeply about craft, quality, and the makers behind our products.

The role: You will own sourcing end to end, finding the right manufacturing vendors across India, getting us from samples to production, and keeping quality consistent as we scale. You are the bridge between our design vision and the people who make it real. This role is remote, but you should be based in Gurugram, close to the manufacturing hubs.

What you will do

- Find, vet, and onboard manufacturers for ceramics, glassware, tableware, and decor objects
- Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, and timelines
- Manage sampling rounds and give clear, actionable feedback to vendors
- Set up quality checks so every batch meets our standard
- Build and maintain a reliable vendor database we can grow with
- Travel to manufacturing hubs for vendor visits and production checks
- Flag risks early: delays,



quality dips, cost changes

What we are looking for

- 3 to 5 years sourcing home decor, lifestyle, or D2C products in India
- An existing network of vendors and manufacturers you can tap into from day one
- Experience working with D2C or retail brands (Nicobar, FabIndia, Good Earth, Chumbak, or similar is a big plus)
- Robust negotiation skills and a good instinct for fair pricing
- Working knowledge of quality control for ceramics, glass, and decor materials
- Comfortable travelling to hubs like Moradabad, Khurja, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai
- Organised, direct communicator

Nice to have

- Export experience, since we ship internationally
- Familiarity with compliance and certifications for tableware
