Prestigious Client / Project: International non-profit dedicated to accelerating economic development across 15+ emerging economies through job creation, entrepreneurship, and skilling programs.

This project involves transforming an existing GenAI platform into a scalable, multi-tenant, API-first enterprise system. The platform serves as the central AI orchestration layer across global initiatives, requiring strict tenant isolation across identity, application data, vector stores, RAG contexts, and guardrails.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Define the target architecture for a scalable, modular and multi-tenant GenAI platform.
- Design tenant isolation across identity, application data, content, conversations, memory, vector stores and AI context.
- Define AI/Agent architecture covering LLM integration, RAG, tool/function calling, agent orchestration, context management and guardrails.
- Establish API-first, microservices and event-driven architecture, including service boundaries and integration standards.
- Define data architecture, data ownership, governance, access control, lifecycle and tenant-aware data strategies.
- Define IAM, RBAC/ABAC, SSO, identity federation, encryption, auditability and AI security controls.
- Design cloud, DevOps, MLOps/LLMOps/AI Ops, observability and deployment architecture.
- Assess legacy platforms and integrations and define a phased modernization and migration roadmap.
- Define architecture governance, standards, reference architectures and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).




- Own technical architecture decisions from requirement understanding through design, implementation alignment and modernization roadmap.
- Lead and mentor architects and senior engineers; provide technical direction, conduct design reviews and ensure engineering teams remain aligned with the target architecture.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Data, Security and Business stakeholders and drive architecture decisions to closure.

Requirements
- 10+ years of overall technology experience with 5+ years in Enterprise, Solution or Platform Architecture.
- Strong experience designing large-scale, cloud-native or SaaS platforms.
- Hands-on architecture experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs and event- driven architecture.
- Strong experience with multi-tenant architecture and tenant isolation.
- Practical architecture experience with GenAI/LLMs, AI agents, RAG and AI orchestration.
- Strong understanding of LLM integration patterns, tool/function calling, vector databases and context management.
- Solid data architecture and data governance experience.
- Good understanding of IAM, RBAC/ABAC, SSO, identity federation and application security.
- Experience modernizing legacy platforms and moving tightly coupled integrations toward APIs/services.
- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, ownership and team management experience.

Good to Have

- Experience with Moodle/LMS or WordPress/enterprise CMS integrations.
- Experience with omnichannel platforms such as mobile, WhatsApp, voice or conversational interfaces.
- Exposure to MLOps, LLMOps or AI Ops.
- Experience in education, learning technology or digital platforms.
- Experience designing platforms serving multiple organizations/partners with independent data and configuration.
