About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Delivery Architect to lead the design, delivery, and transformation of enterprise cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable cloud environments, driving successful project execution, and providing technical leadership across cloud migration, modernization, security, governance, and managed services initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect end-to-end Azure cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation projects for enterprise customers.
- Define Azure landing zone architecture, governance frameworks, security controls, and operational best practices.
- Provide technical leadership to delivery teams, ensuring successful implementation of Azure solutions.
- Collaborate with customers, pre-sales teams, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive adoption of Azure-native services including IaaS, PaaS, containers, serverless, and data services.
- Develop high-level and low-level solution designs (HLDs/LLDs).
- Implement cloud security, compliance, identity management, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Guide DevOps implementation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Ensure delivery excellence, operational efficiency, service availability, and performance optimization.
- Mentor architects, engineers, and consultants within the cloud practice.
- Support customer workshops, architecture reviews, and technical governance meetings.

Technical Skills

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and services.
- Hands-on experience with:

- Azure Virtual Machines
- Azure Networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, Application Gateway)

- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

- Azure Storage
- Azure Backup & Site Recovery
- Azure Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud
- Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Experience in Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, or Python automation.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
- Experience in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments is preferred.

Delivery & Consulting Skills
- Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation and migration engagements.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and technical teams simultaneously.
- Experience preparing architecture documents, solution proposals, and implementation roadmaps.
- Robust presentation, communication, and consulting skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in Azure architecture and cloud delivery.

Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
- TOGAF Certification (Preferred)
- Terraform Associate Certification (Preferred)
