Solution Designer

Location: Gurgaon

What's the purpose of my role?

Responsible for defining and governing solution architecture and detailed solution designs for client onboarding application used for product onboarding, regulatory compliance, and sales enablement.

Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineers, Enterprise Architects, and domain teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable technology solutions. Provide technical leadership across multiple delivery squads and ensure solutions align with architecture standards, engineering practices, and strategic technology roadmaps.

What are my Responsibilities?

- Own end-to-end solution design and product enablement capabilities.
- Produce solution design documents, integration specifications, architecture decision records, and deployment models.
- Ensure solutions align with Client enterprise architecture principles and strategic technology direction.
- Design scalable microservice-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot, Define REST API contracts and integration patterns.
- Establish event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Engineers to design reviews, code reviews and to ensure successful implementation.
- Ensure solutions are engineered for performance, resiliency, security, and operational supportability.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native design principles, CI/CD, DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, and operational controls are incorporated into solution design.
- Support engineering teams in implementing automated quality and deployment pipelines.




- Incorporate privacy, auditability, controls, and regulatory requirements into solution designs.
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and Engineering Managers to shape delivery outcomes.
- Mentor engineers and emerging solution designers across the domain.

Experience

- 10+ years experience in enterprise software delivery, 5+ years’ experience in solution design or architecture roles.
- Solid experience designing distributed and microservices-based systems.
- Experience delivering large-scale banking or financial services platforms within Agile and Scrum environments.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
- Strong API and integration design experience.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, container platforms with event-driven and microservice-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles, Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
