1. Job Summary

The Solar Service Technician is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and servicing of solar PV systems. The role involves attending customer complaints, identifying technical issues, ensuring proper system performance, and completing service requests within the defined timelines.
1. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Solar System Service & Maintenance

- Inspect and maintain solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and related equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Identify and rectify electrical and technical faults.
- Check solar panel performance, wiring, earthing, and connections.
- Ensure proper functioning of inverters and monitoring systems.

B. Customer Complaint Handling
- Attend customer service complaints and technical issues.
- Visit customer sites for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Explain identified issues and required solutions to customers.
- Maintain skilled communication and customer satisfaction.
- Update customers regarding service progress and completion.

C. Technical Troubleshooting




- Diagnose inverter errors, generation issues, and system failures.
- Inspect AC/DC connections, cables, fuses, and protection devices.
- Identify faults in solar installation components.
- Coordinate with the technical team for complex issues.
- Escalate unresolved technical problems to the Service Manager.

D. Service Coordination & Reporting
- Receive assigned work orders from the Service Coordinator.
- Complete service activities within the assigned timeline.
- Update work status, service reports, and completion details.
- Record materials and spare parts used during service.
- Submit site visit reports, photographs, and customer confirmation when required.

E. Safety & Compliance
- Follow electrical safety procedures during site visits.
- Use appropriate PPE and safety equipment.
- Follow company safety policies and installation standards.
- Ensure safe handling of electrical tools and equipment.
- Report hazardous conditions immediately.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
