Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Solar PV Technician & Trainer who can handle both technical field responsibilities and student training. The candidate will be responsible for supporting solar PV installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities, while also assisting in practical and classroom-based training of students.

Your primary work location will be Vasind, Maharashtra. During periods when there are no installation or maintenance assignments, you will be based at the ISIEINDIA Center and support the training team in conducting practical demonstrations and hands-on training for students.

As required for installation, maintenance, inspection, servicing, or training assignments, you will be required to travel to different locations across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Solar PV installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct field visits for solar installations, inspections, maintenance, servicing, and other technical assignments.
- Work on Rooftop, On-grid, Off-grid, and Hybrid Solar PV Systems.
- Travel to different locations for installation, maintenance, commissioning, and technical support as required.
- During non-field periods, work from the Vasind Center and support the trainer in delivering practical training to students.
- Assist trainers in conducting hands-on demonstrations related to solar PV installation, wiring, testing, commissioning, safety, and maintenance.
- Demonstrate the use of solar tools, equipment, components, and training kits to students.




- Assist in evaluating students' practical skills and performance during training sessions.
- Maintain and manage solar labs, tools, equipment, workbenches, and training kits.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during practical sessions and field assignments.
- Maintain relevant installation, maintenance, service, and training records.

Travel Requirement

- Pan-India travel may be required for field visits, solar installations, commissioning, maintenance, inspections, training programs, workshops, and other official assignments.
- During field assignments, you will be required to visit the respective project/site location as per organizational requirements.
- When there are no field installation or maintenance assignments, your primary responsibility will be to work from the Vasind Center and assist the training team with practical student training.
- Travel, accommodation, and food expenses/allowances for official work-related travel will be provided/reimbursed by the organization as per company policy.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Solar PV installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical training.
- Practical knowledge of Rooftop, On-grid, Off-grid, and Hybrid Solar PV systems.
- Positive marathi communication and practical training skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and demonstrate practical procedures to students.
- Comfortable with field work, hands-on technical activities, and Pan-India travel.
- Ability to work collaboratively with trainers, students, technical teams, and other departments.
