Role Description The Solar Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This position is responsible for supervising solar mounting system installation at project sites, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution. Daily tasks include reviewing engineering drawings, conducting site surveys, monitoring construction activities, and implementing quality control procedures.

Engineer will troubleshoot technical issues, verify structural and civil works, ensure compliance with safety standards, and prepare site reports and documentation.



The role also involves supporting commissioning activities and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Strong in office execution and supervision skills, with experience managing solar or construction project activities at project locations.
- Effective communication abilities for coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients, and for preparing clear technical reports.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and standards, including inspection, testing, and documentation for solar mounting and civil works.
- Background in structural engineering or related disciplines, with the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Degree or diploma in civil engineering or a closely related field; practical experience in solar, construction, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Understanding of solar mounting systems and basic electrical and mechanical concepts relevant to solar installations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, site HSE practices, and local building codes.
- Proficiency with standard engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
