We are looking for an experienced Software Tester with strong hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++ and Modbus communication protocols. The candidate will be responsible for testing and validating embedded software, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing for embedded software.
- Develop and execute test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Perform testing of software developed using Embedded C/C++.
- Work with Modbus and other communication protocols for testing and validation.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Perform debugging and root-cause analysis in collaboration with development teams.
- Validate communication between embedded devices and systems.
- Maintain test documentation, test reports, and defect tracking.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation where applicable.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software/Embedded Testing.
- Strong understanding of Embedded C and C++.
- Hands-on experience with Modbus protocol.
- Good understanding of embedded systems and software development lifecycle.
- Experience with functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Positive communication and collaboration skills.
