Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our quality assurance team. The Software Tester will be responsible for planning and executing tests on our software applications, identifying and documenting bugs, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality product releases. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute test cases, including manual and automated testing.

- Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track bugs and defects in the software using tracking tools.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand requirements and ensure the software meets quality standards.

- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Documentation: Write clear and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.

- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by new changes.

- Performance and Security Testing: Conduct basic performance and security testing as needed.

- Continuous Improvement:



Contribute to the improvement of testing practices and workflows.

Requirements:

- Experience: 2+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or a related field.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Technical Skills
- Proficiency with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman).

- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., Java, Python).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

- Knowledge: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).

- Soft Skills: Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Certification in Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).

- Knowledge of API testing and mobile testing.
